Wingstop creates a game within the game
Wingstop has no problem selling wings on Super Bowl Sunday. What they had a problem with, was staying in the football conversation during the Playoffs leading up to the Big Game. So we created a game that fans could play through Twitter, utilizing conversational ad units, while watching the Playoffs. Using prop bets, fun bets that aren’t reliant on the outcome of the game, we engaged our core, gained new followers, awarded participants with exclusive prizes and most importantly, stayed relevant and active throughout the NFL playoffs.
With over 14 million impressions, tripled Wingstop’s Twitter engagement and doubled Twitter’s engagement rate for conversational ad units, Wingstop fans couldn’t stop tuning in to place their bets and cross their fingers.
